About the event
Are you finding the idea of lining up seams and matching perfect points a bit tiresome? Have you been eyeing those lovely improvisational quilts all over the internet and wondering how people do that? Or do you just want to do something to break out of a creative rut? This is a fun and easy class that will teach you how to piece your own “improvisational” split log cabin quilt.
You don’t need to worry too much about cutting fabric the right size or sewing perfect seams. Just come, have fun, explore color, and leave with your own, unique quilt top. The split log cabin is a great opportunity to play with design and pattern. It's also very scrap friendly and works well with upcycled fabrics.
