Class is held at Bay Quilts
Come spend the weekend surrounded by color, fabric, and community! This beginner-friendly two-day mini retreat is all about slowing down, connecting with others, and finding delight in the freeing world of improv quilting.
We’ll explore the basketweave pattern. Forget about measuring every strip or lining up every seam. Instead, you’ll play with fabric (bring your scraps and reclaimed fabrics!) to create a quilt top that is entirely your own.
We’ll meet at Bay Quilts for a full weekend of making. On Saturday, you’ll set up your machine in their spacious, light-filled classroom, and it can stay right where it is until we wrap up Sunday afternoon. That means you get two full days to sew, experiment, and connect—without having to pack up after each session.
